Complete boat covers while trailering your performance boat
#22

I had someone reach out to me via facebook that they had a full fitted cover for my boat. I seen the pics and it's a nice cover, the problem is that it's made completely of Sunbrella and not felt lined. Does anyone have experience with this? Am I taking a big risk of scratching my paint? I'd only use this for towing long distances.

I had A stamoid cover felt backed in “critical spots”with A flap access panel with Velcro over the fuel cap and vent. often I’d take the flap and instead of securing it flat I would back it up a bit and create a roll allowing air thru and ventilate. I have also just tucked it under out of the way. I have also learned the hard way not to overfill when transporting due to expansion
I have also had instance when highway trailering the stamoid would rub against the black hull side towards the bow. My remedy was to insert a couple swim noodles between the cover and boat on either side. That solved that problem.
