but what’s it gonna take to see a new power boat model with IO power that’s in the pure offshore performance category??? Lol I know Matt and Jason follow the news, so that question is not directed at them but the builders. I mean if I see another new CC or another OB boat I’m gonna flip! nothing wrong with a builder building what customers are asking for . I’m sure if anyone had a great idea for a “ pure offshore performance “ boat any one of the great builders out there including Outerlimits would love to work with a customer and bring a new IO boat to fruition. All it’s takes is money. OL is still building IO performance boats which is more than I can say for any other V bottom builder. Not to mention the newest 46 cat that was in Miami . |

Build a new I/O bad ass boat and I bet you could get a write up.

Looking forward to this one!
So it will be a similar bottom to their SV43? |
Yes, the 43 and sl44 share the same bottom. I believe this hull is a widened 44, then trim the bussell off and a little more?

Hey guys- my post above was all meant in fun and not in anger. I understand these companies gotta do what sells. I was just making a little fun of it.

Had many write ups on our bad ass I/O boats in 2019 and 2020. Trulio does a phenomenal job following the industry. Just completed a 46 cat and a 44sl with 860s that ran 122mph.

believe me part of me agrees with you about the outboard market now!! But I guess it needs to be embraced cuz it doesn’t look like it’s going to slow down anytime soon . |
