Default Octo*****, the 50 knot motor yacht.

An important yacht and a well done tribute documentary about its birth.

Nothing like automatic profanity censorship. Shoot, OSO forum even thought spelling Octo***** this way would be good enough. Well, in this case there was nothing naughty by nature, and b.t.w., I'd actually make an exception in this case and be content with doing it with this O.P.O.P. ( Other Person's Octo.P****). Always been in love with this yacht.

Love anything Staluppi had built, amazing boats.
I remember reading a brief article when they were testing "The world is not enough" and he mentioned an uneasy feeling, chine walking @70 mph in a 140 footer.

Thank Lars, research guru.

Back when Staluppi and his friend were in competition to see who could build the fastest motor yacht I got a real kick out of their methods to give incentive to their builders.
Things like penalties for not being completed on time and substantial deductions for every knot of predicted speed not met or a bonus for every knot over .
So inspired was I that I tried it on my service providers and mechanics and they promptly all stopped working for me !
