They won the National Championship, and both races, I believe. (you are talking about the Bad Boys from Jersey, right?)

..I think Just Browsing is thinking of Smitty in Wazzup...they ran unopposed in P3 for the Championship...

Smitty has the Jersey Boyz trailer...along with Bad Boys, Simply Awesome, Pensa, Outlaw, etc..etc..and Next Year..Xtremely Dangerous!! ;) :D

does not seem right!!...you sure we are talking about the same boat?....maybe they ran a p class race too???

It did not appear to be an F2 running P2 (although a couple of them did).

The boat I'm talking about is called "Bad Boys", and they are from NJ.

it ran both races on thursday. i don't know what p class it was in , but i it thought it had f2 numbers on it.

so,,,seems like some mixed stories here???...it won both races and the nationals....seconds....maybe it ran p class??maybe with f2 #'s on it???

I guess it was one of the F2's running P2. I had it confused with another boat.

My mistake.

..guess they figured they'd traveled all that way...why not keep running?!?!?

Bad Boyz ran F2 and P2 on THurs and only P2 on Sunday. The got killed by the canopied fountains in F2 and won in P2

The BAD BOYS boat ran P2 and F2 in NO. It looks to me like a 38 SCARAB with two steps cut in it. IT was VERY UN-impressive! I loped really bad (bow stern-rocking chair) It looks to me that the steps aren't quite right. I think that the Clacksters boat won P2 on Sunday. None of the boat's in P2 ran very well. I don't think Bad Boy started F2 on Sunday. In think they have alot of bugs to work out before it runs well in F2.

i thought it was a 92 mph bad rough water ride??

Hey Ryan,

We got a great start...2nd lap the motor coughed back in the supercharger and killed the engine...we pulled to the infield kicked her in neutral and fought hard to get her running again..she fired and we got back on course....realed in and passed the f2 with 2 laps left for the win.......OPPS!!! When we turned off course after the engine killed [not to get rammed in the rear by any one} and trying to fire the rig again we drifted past the side marker bouy????on the inside??? DQ!!!!! was the ruling. It seems you can pass that bouy on the inside when you are forced there by another boat but not for safety issues..OPPS!!

I woulds love to have one. Looking hard at the Aqua Toy Store AMT. One fast ride!!

I talked briefly with the Owner of Bad Boy- The hull is his own design, based loosely on a Scarab 38 KV. It has 2 very large steps, and the center rib looks to be a bit more substantial than on the Scarab.

I did not want to bother him too much, he was busy getting ready to run. A beautiful boat, and really nice people. I hope to see them do well in the future!
