Very nice. I’m not familiar with that model. How about some cabin pics, Hows it run?

I've never read a bad report on a Cobalt.
Always thought the helm layout and aft facing 'social' seat looks great and I admire a manufacturer who dares to try something different.

Congratulations on the new ride.

Congrats to a very cool boat. These 343s handle well in rough water and the accommodations are truly luxerious and practical. I like the looks too, kind of like a cross between two old gentleman's runabouts, the Fino 30 and the Monte--Carlo Offshorer 27/30/32. Here's a couple links for you. One great 343 thread here on OSO and one to the Cobalt Boat Owners Club. They got a Facebook members group too. Enjoy your beauty. Great choice!

There's one on Lake George with 525's and whipples done by Saris Racing. Im told it runs close to 100 mph. Of course he rebuilds the drives every year or so..

I love this boat. Thought about this before my Fastech.

I really like al the positive feedback! I wasn't sure what to expect on an offshore forum! So far I am really loving the boat, only issue has been the IAC valve which is a bit of a pain. Has anyone else had issues with their IAC valve on 496 HO?

Still hoping some 343 owners will chime in. I encountered my first issue other than my IAC valve, my audio amp blew. Let me tell you it was a b^tch locating it and there didn't seem to be any online sources of information for these boats.

Great boats. We put a set of 850s in one. Runs 100ish on rails.
We're installing a set of Merc 565's in another this fall. The people who have them love them
