Calculating overhead door height

Looking at a 30' cruiser and trying to determine if it will fit thru a 12' X 12' shop door.

Bridge clearance is 9'8". Draft with drives down is 35". Can I just add two numbers together?

Figuring on the trailer, drives will be pretty close to touching the ground if they are trimmed all the way down.

I doubt it will fit under 12' high door.

Yeah, not looking good. Appears I'm at least 8" too tall. Probably closer to a foot. Next shop is getting 16' walls.:cool-smiley-027:

Just out of curiosity, when a boat manuf states "bridge clearance", does it refer to top of structure or top of factory mounted options on top of arch? Not that it would help in this case.

Bridge clearance should be waterline to highest fixed point.
