Another one down in Charloette Harbor for those who live a little farther North. Copied from Facebook

On Labor Day weekend, NOW MORE THAN EVER YOUR SUPPORT IS NEEDED FOR OUR LAW ENFORCEMENT , PAST, PRESENT, AND FUTURE. THEY NEED TO KNOW WE BACK BLUE!!!!!
7 Miles of pure sand beach, Back the Blue will join forces with Rezny Wealth Management Trump 2020 Boat parade.
We will meet at the starting point at 9:15 and prepare our departure at 9:30am Starting point is at the North End of Pine Island/Bokeelia Reef Marker 92
We will head west around Pine Island then head south running along the west side of Pine Island to Captiva Pass "North Captiva and Cayo Costa Inlet"
We will end at Cayo Costa Island, Gulf side for beach, sun, and BBQ so bring those grills and fly those flags proudly.

This mornings paper (News Press) front page said the Fort Meyers event organizers are looking to set some record for these events. Reportedly saying someone from the Coast Guard or ? indicated there was roughly 11,000 boats at the event. I believe they were saying it was a combination of folks from Fort Myers/Cape Coral and Port Charlotte area. Article said they organizers are in contact with Guinness. I can say there were definitely a whole bunch of boats and flags on the river!

Lots and lots of boats on the river. There were 2 separate parades Saturday. One with an earlier start and one later. I saw a lot of the boats from the later one. Pretty crazy
