Appreciation for OSO, SOTW and SB Mag
 

I just wanted to give a shout out of appreciation to the OSO staff/moderators, Matt/Jason/Pete (SOTW) and Ray/Todd (SB Mag) for doing what they do. Without them, our time between weekends/events in our boats would be a lot less "connected" to the sport/industry we all live for. I remember back in the late '80s/'90s all we had was Powerboat Magazine and Hot Boat Magazine - once a month publications! At least the motorcycle industry had 3 or 4 magazines (Motocross Action, Super Motocross, Dirt Bike, Dirt Rider), plus Cycle News, which was a weekly publication. We are all so lucky to have a small group of guys in the powerboat industry that forego larger salaries in the corporate world to do what they (and we) love so much. So again, I raise my beer and give a big round of "THANKS" to all these guys! :ernaehrung004:

Also agreed. I still get Boating magazine and BoatU.S. magazine but, yeah, I miss Hot Boat and Powerboating.

There is not much out there in terms of information about boats or boating in general. Whatever and whoever provides content on this subject matter gets 2 thumbs up from me. Years ago, there were many publications on boats and boating in general. Now, only a handful left. So I appreciate anyone who steps up to the plate and provides me with knowledgeable and entertaining stories
