I found it funny how they had the cabinet/parliament vote on the U.N. Resolution and it was unanimous to allow Saddam to make the decision on his own and they all said how they trusted his foresight etc. etc. Hmmmm....sounds just like the elections they had.

Nukes may not be all that necessary with today's technology. A 2000# bomb used to be a big one. They were using 10K and larger in Afghanistan. These 'bunker-busters' would flatten an entire mountain.
We now have up to 40,000#. Biggest danger for friendlies is for the flight crew to get the hell out of the way, but no fall-out to mess with our friends in Turkey!
