thoughts on 31 sonic
Well I ran across a 31 ft sonic ss/sp it's a 1994 model very clean, with a triple axle alum. trailer that is about 5 years old, my question is what kind of speed would you get out of this rig with twin 502's, and what is a low and a high price to pay, was thinking about this because they will take my boat in on trade so lets hear what do you think?

carb or efi 502's?
94 should be able to be bought in the 50's DOC. I will let owners chime in on speed, but I would imagine 67 -72 |
thanks for the reply's, I should of thought about you Ken, you have a Sonic, well I have only looked at it so far through the fence, might take a look with the salesman tomorrow, and will look it over. thanks

Derek, man you know I am a Baja dude, just looking, thats half the fun, I would love to have that outlaw of yours, I guess I need to get off my butt and sell my boat, most dealers won't give you crap for trade in, but this guy was going to give me a really good
trade in value on my boat! JB it has 502 efi's in the sonic |
the boat is worth 50-70 depending on the rigg. the 502's are a plus does it have air? alot of them do including mine....its great when its hot! I think on average they bring about 60 on a trailer but the market stinks right now, you should get a good deal. I guessing the boat will run 70ish.....I love mine!!!!

no air, but I think it has a holding tank, head, and some other comforts, going to look at it tomorrow, I am off work till monday, and the boat is only 70 miles away!

I would think it should run mid 70's and price is totally dependant on condition and desperation to sell. 50 to 70K sound like a good range. And if you're a Baja dude, you will be very impressed with the Sonic. I had 2 '96 Bajas and am very happy with the move up to a Sonic.
