Casey and Rob are great guys! I wish them the best with the repairs. I know they will get the boat back together and be on top of the class in 2021!!

.
would it be easier to just build a new hull? I heard the new DW32 hull bottoms are wicked fast. , |
Yes the new 32 is very quick!
|
Damage photos appear to show a lot of bondo. It this normal?
|
Is the new 32’ DW a new CNC’d mold?

yes sir, here's a pic of the new mold being built using CNC machines...the hull is wider as well to accommodate comfy 4 passengers in the rear http://www.offshoreonly.com/forums/d...ml#post4734356 https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...8e534cf4b8.jpg . |
The orange/tan filler sure looks like bondo. I am no fiberglass expert, but all the glass work I have done, the fairing compounds, fillers, etc. are the color of the epoxy or polyester resin used with maybe a small white tint depending on the thickener. Any comments from the "experts"?
