With Pratt being a commercial trailer builder and having a large investment in advanced manufacturing equipment and work procedures to drive down costs in their existing marketplace, I would imagine adding an additional product line with their existing manufacturing methods will yield high quality and cost effective results.

Just a reminder. It has been done before: Lugo Trailers did this. And they pretty much made the most blinged out tilt on the market. Take an Extreme trailer and marry to a Myco trailer is basically what was produced. Same business model, same situation. They gave it up after a few builds. American Commercial Trailers did it too and still builds tilts. I'm totally not trying to be negative. My point is it's not unheard of and not a first for an existing trailer company to venture into tilt trailers. The more options for a consumer the better. I also wouldn't say Skater is the best tilt in the biz. They're super nice, don't get me wrong but I don't know who I'd give that distinction to since it seems all the tilt trailer builders make awesome stuff. I mean Myco builds a sick tilt and Heritage has built a few very nice looking tilts. It just doesn't seem like anything out there now is crap. But if Pratt can cut the cost way down (since tilt trailers are STUPID expensive) they will sell like hot cakes!

I agree, except they will probably sell more like Waygu than Hot Cakes.
