WOT for an hour= Blown motor
 

I guess it was bound to happen.
It was so nice out last weekend that I decided to get out & make use of the day.
I fired up the motor & let it warm up for a few minutes.
I nailed the throttle & it was running like a champ. The cool air gave it a few hundred rpm more than usual.
I was wide open for about an hour. I couldn't let up!!!
Well the whole time running at around 6000 rpm finally cought up to me.... BAM!!!!! Blown motor! Flames even shot out of the exhaust as it sputteres to a noisy end of its life....
Damn! That was a good leaf blower:p

This is the Cig that was for sale?

Probably shouldn't run any motor at WOT for an hour.

Look, my advice is to rebuild it. You can bore that cylinder out, put in a high compression piston, and next fall, you can blow the leaves into the neighbor's yard without leaving the porch.:D
