Actually it's pretty easy to break it down, just a couple of anodes and DC current. Voila hydrogen generator, I haven't done it since high school and I assume it nets negative power through the process. Then when you burn it, the by product is water.

I was in Charlevoix, Michigan over the summer and noticed most big C.C. had numerous Seven Marine engines on the back. Must be a big dealer there. I saw a long Nor-Tech with 6 hanging off the back. A pretty penny for that one!

LOL,

We did that in a middle school science class, I remember the teacher filled a balloon up with the Hydrogen. He wrote Hindenburg on it and "flew" it over a Bunsen burner,,,,,,,,,,,,, you know recreated the event!

Wow electric power coming at us fast! Water electric I'll pass! Almost bought an electric Harley but snapped out of it :hitfan: I'll be a caveman and stick with big block power:boat::food-smiley-007:

There may come a time when this is a practical application. With the voltage put out i would not want that near water. Additionally EV cars rely heavily on coasting and charging via braking to charge. You have neither in a boat.

I think I am going to start recording the sound from my wonderful big block so my grand kids can play it when they drive around in their electric boats!
