Center Console Cat's

I was at a manufacture's shop today. And we were discussing how the performance center console market has exploded in recent years. As well as the OB powered performance cat market. And the performance offshore fishing center console cat market as well.

So we started kicking around some ideas. And I was wondering. What does the performance boating community think of a performance offshore CC cat? One in the 36 to 43 foot range. With a 12 foot beam. When running quad 450s can get upwards high 80s low 90s. But is set up more like a nor tech or MTI. As far as comfort goes. Would the smoother rough water ride of a cat appeal to anyone for a non fishing cat?

I have been in a freeman and an invincible. both are bad a$$. However, they are not air entrapment hulls.

True air-entrapment cats really don't run right until 70+. I think having a bunch of people in a stand-up CC with a 75-80MPH cruise is a recipe for disaster. Especially as speeds approach north of 100 @ WO.

And not very comfortable for passengers. CCs get quite windy above 50-60.

Oh yeah? Please do tell us. Which offshore cats are set up this way? Freeman, Invincible, HHH, TAG and a few others aren't. Please tell me you're not suggesting a Insetta?

Ocean express makes a few.. one in 28' that I saw years ago. Cobra predator, and Steve Koss's Cheetahs were 20+ years ahead of the game.
