Any pictures of a Bravo shipping box/ container ?

I’m looking to ship a Bravo outdrive complete . I have searched it and read about some ideas . The idea of wrapping it in a plastic bag and filling the box with spray foam seemed like a good one . I shipped an upper with UPS once and I thought I had it packaged pretty good but they managed to break the cavitation plate . Does anybody have a picture of how mercury does it ? I’ve seen the outside of the Mercury boxes but never the inside or the bottom . Thanks for any info

I’ve become an outdrive packing expert. Haven’t had any issues...throw it on a pallet to ship. Here are a few ideas

Strap it to a pallet. That’s how AADS ships their drives. Mine showed up just fine after a rebuild by George.

I just packaged one up last night .. :)

Shipping IS generally cheaper if it's an enclosed container.

I'm using Fastenal's Blue Lane Freight to ship this one.. $155 from Texas to Kentucky ;)

Not a bravo, but unfortunately I've had the occasion to ship superchargers and I basically built a small coffin out of plywood and 2x4's. Worked great.....

shipping on a pallet was cheaper...I paid $160 for 2 outdrives CT to MI. Im pretty sure the round trip was $320.

I appreciate all the info and pictures from everybody. I got a little chuckle out of the “ coffin” for the superchargers. The picture of the mercury boxes gets my curiosity going though , is there wooden structure in there ? Just molded foam ?

There is a company named Craters and Freighters- I think franchisee nation wide-
Anyway I took mine to them and had crates made and now can reuse as needed.
