F34PC:

Year, still have box and papers, is the green sticker still on the back ?

F34PC 11-15-2002 09:00 AM

The green sticker is still on the back, I do still have the box and I believe I also have the papers. I will have to check because I have a number of Rolex's and I want to make sure I have the right papers.

hmmm how much do you want for it? I've been wanting a stainless daytona (with stainless bracelet) or a white gold but if the price were right i could be happy with a yellow gold...

:D

F34PC 11-15-2002 10:01 AM

If you are serious call 516.398.4600 Matt. If you really want a stainless than wait.... they are two totally diff. kind of looks.

bobby daniels 11-16-2002 02:37 PM

AMBUSHER SOUNDS LIKE A NICE WATCH I'LL E-MAIL YOU ,,,THANKS :)

Chart 11-16-2002 07:00 PM

What is the significance(sp?) of the green sticker still being on the back of Rolexes?

Chart 11-17-2002 11:23 AM

Ambusher: thanks for the info. That must be some pretty good sticky on the green sticker. I've worn mine 24/7 for years now, and the yellow lettering is worn off, and the green color is much lighter than when new, but the sticker is still well attached. As hard as I am on watches (everything I own is expected to work as hard as I do; not into frilly stuff that does not earn its keep) I doubt the fact the sticker is still on mine will increase its worth much with all the honest-wear scratches on it. But the crystal is still scratch-free. That's an incredable material.

Puder, I`ve looked all over for that SS Daytona, unless you want to spend 8600 to 8900 for a SS watch GOOD LUCK. You can buy the two tone for about 9300 thats with 18k gold.Frum outa Chicago wants 8900:cool:

F34PC 11-19-2002 06:42 AM

Yup, It is the one that Jeff bought. I am sure he is happy. I will start looking again soon for another one. Life is not the same.

Dredgeking 11-19-2002 08:11 AM

my hologram sticker came off after the 1st week. hell, if you're not going to wear it, why buy it? they didn't make them to look pretty. they made them to be tough as nuts.

rainmn 11-19-2002 08:49 AM

I'm with you Dredgeking.
I took mine off when I took the watch out of the box. I have no intentions of ever selling it, and I wear it every day. I figured it would just turn sticky and nasty. Apparently they don't.

bobby daniels 11-19-2002 04:21 PM

THE STICKER IS MADE TO BE BE TAKEN OFF AT PURCHASE ,ONLY LEFT ON TO PROVE NEW OR USED OR IN BETWEEN :D :D :D

Donzi Corleone 11-19-2002 07:09 PM

I think those lists are so everyone thinks its kosher. If I was the dealer why would I sell list when their are collectors beatin dwn my door to pay 8,000.
