I have always loved the corsair more than a P51 even. Amazes me how much bigger todays jets are.

The Corsair and the Mustang have almost identical airspeed, however the Corsair weighed more due to the landing gear required for carrier landing. the tomcat was a huge aircraft.

I got to ride in this one a few years ago. Based at SRQ. Ed told me his Dad bought it in 1958 for 950$ lol.
