That was at Boyne Thunder Poker run yesterday. Wasn’t near them, but heard possible engine problems, then fire too much and to quick for the fire suppression system to put it out. Fire fighters couldn’t fight it well until it drifted closer to shore. Sounds like it burned for nearly 3 hours with 100 gallons of fuel onboard. Good news is all were rescued and alive!

Here’s a pic I took of her on the trailer Wednesday evening at Boyne. The petoskey news review has a small article and pic of what’s left. Very sad for the loss of the boat, but praise the Lord they are all ok! |
