It's a cool boat, good friends of ours out of Houston, cabin has AC too. They had a 48 triple diesel Fountain EC for many years and sold it, bought this for ease of boating. I wish it had another foot of beam to move around but really cool boat.

I highly recommend anyone that has a chance to climb aboard one, do so, as you will be amazed at the design, layout, versatility and price point. They were always one of those "what is that thing" boats. But, they are such a smart design you can see why it was boat of the year in 2020.
I will be getting one next year.

I watch them on the Haulover inlet videos and they are a very wet ride in rough water. Boating on the Great Lakes I appreciate the bow flair on my Velocity. It takes some pretty severe weather to get us wet. Anything with a blunt entry would need to triple up on your bilge pump where I boat.
They aren't for everyone, but I was completely sold on the idea/design. And like others have said, up here in the NE where we have 90 to 120 boating days for most fair weather boats, an Axopar instantly increases your boating season length.
Also the plumb bow design is the opposite of a "blunt entry". It is a knife edge.

My first time in one was in 58 degrees rainy northern Lake Michigan waters, we were dry and warm and enjoyed the day!
