There is a lot of carbon involved in the layup of the 27...I bet its not as heavy as some may think. No pad, no steps, Im sure it rides/handles great. 700hp in the low 90s would be perfect for me.

On the speed topic, not to digress too far. You guys are absolutely right. As someone who races a 26 foot Class 6 boat at 70, and a 32 foot Class 4 boat at 85. Those speeds in open cockpit boats are really, really fast. Especially in the ocean. Frankly, too many people expect 100+ out everything these days not at all realizing how fast it is and how dangerous it is. I hate to be a debbie downer...but a LOT of people need a reality check.

Wow. What a sweet looking ride. I love how they kept the lines and feel of a big magnum with the updated touches. Bravo. wonder what the price will be

Sweet Mag... Base engine is a Merc 565 with XR pushing power all the way up to a Merc Racing 860 and #6 as factory options (+ Ilmor)
