That's cause they don't want to admit they voted for him now! there's a couple of people here at work that were anti-trumpers at all costs......now they stay silent anytime any kind of politics is spoken about. They are too embarrassed with what they voted for!

Diesel just jumped huge amts over the weekend. $5.30 to $6.25. My local (extremely rural) economy is really fuked now. Assuming many other areas too ?

From $5.39 to $5.69 around here, a jump but not like yours!

I wish I could find where I read it... maybe it was here.... the collapse of society is tied to diesel fuel costs because it provides the lifeline for supply chain operation across the country. I believe what I read was that once the cost climbs beyond $6.25 $5.25 per gallon, the US will begin to see catastrophic supply chain disruptions because truckers and companies will not be able to afford the costs. And once the trucks stop running, what we've experienced over the last year and half will be a cakewalk in comparison. After a month our country will be dead.

We need a miracle at this point.

Yeah I wish someone could explain the Diesel fuel cost increase to me. I scoffed at $5.09 last week and figured I'd wait to fuel my truck up. Was $6.29 in the center of town yesterday so I kept driving and got a deal @ $6.09. Doesn't really affect me at all, but what gives? Cheaper to refine and the demand has been there all along to keep products moving. That's a substantial increase in the cost to move stuff over the road.

When that increased cost forces truckers to sideline their rigs, it's going affect all of us.

They don’t receive the gas all at the same time.
They pay what the market is.

If that’s not how it works, i’d like to buy some bitcoins from way back when please. :)
