Has anybody read "Searace" by Crouse..or watched the video they sell on the website?approx what years does it cover?..is it worth reading?.watching?

Yes, its worth the price if you want to know the complete history of offshore racing. I've never seen the video.

Never see the video but the book ROCKS. It is a MUST HAVE. I lost mine and I just have not gotten around to getting another :D :D

I own both the video and the book. You really don't read the book as much as you peruse it. There is a lot of interesting facts and comments from the early days of Offshore. The video is interesting but nothing spectacular. It covers the Miami to Nassau races from the mid eighties. There are interviews with Theodoli (Magnum) and Jim Wynne shows his face. Fabio Buzzi makes a huge appearance. Can't give away to much here. It's also a plug for the book. I am glad to own both pieces of Offshore history and would recommend it to anyone who has an interest in the sport.
