Purchased the 1990 5000 Meteor "sin or swim" this March after it had been repo'd for the second time in it's life.

We had Doller Offshore here in Ft Lauderdale do a complete refit of the drivelines which was all it needed to make it back in the water. Running 3 454's Gen 6 mills that we built and dynoed at 440 hp on 87 octane. Boat has had very little use and is in great shape. Just finishing up the last few things and then it's go time!

Would like to hear from any other Meteor owners.

Chuck

Bringing back an old school thread! I like it!

Love Scarabs. Gotta soft spot for 'em since I worked for the local dealer in the late 80's (Miami Vice craze time).

Nice Scab BH! Almost looks like an Apache with the paint and the high backed seats.

A friend just a few months ago was at the closed Wellcraft facilty in Sarasota and watched several Sarab molds cut up and crushed. Due to legal reasons they were on offered for sale to anyone.
