Cherokee, Comanche, etc... I always thought those were complimentary to our Native American heritage. I have close friends that are Cherokee and have never once heard a word about Jeep being a problem.

The warparty name started with my Apache and I’m still using it 4 boats later. If someone doesn’t like it then they can take a long walk off a short pier.

In Marion , Iowa, they did a search to figure out a mascot name to replace "Indians". After several months, they decided on "Mavericks". Well, they just found out that the nickname Maverick comes from Samuel Maverick, a rancher that did things his way. Well, it just came to the top that ol' Samuel had slaves (this was over 200 years ago), so they dropped the name and continue the search. You just can't make this **** up.
