Gaffrig GPS w/ large puck W/O battery?
Ive tried to search this and seems like all the post are related to the smaller pucks that have internal batteries. I have a Graffrig/Livorsi GPS speedo that swoops to 3 o'clock, then 12, than 6 for about 5 seconds until it goes to 9 o'clock and stays there. All the post say its a bad battery but i took cover off my puck and it doesn't have an internal battery? Could gauge be faulty or am I missing something? Advice?

I'd wire the speedo (blue wire) to the GPS and lose the puck.

the receiver gets powered up from the head unit, when the speedo sits at 3 0'Clock it is waiting for a signal from the receiver. So maybe now power or ground, to or from the receiver, or the signal wire has an open on it. do you have two speedo's and it this the main or the secondary? I just repaired a similar situation for a friend. Call or text me at 231-313-2511.
Also make sure the recall switch is in the center position and not stuck in recall or clear position |
My cig has been like that since day one. All new dash and gages this yr and bigger GPS unit-- Better fix it :lolhit:
