Ray

Awesome - welcome to the world of Fountain. I also went from Powerquest to Fountain. Powerquest is an awesome boat, but you won't regret the Fountain. Only thing is you have to have thick skin on this board because people love to trash one of the best.

Good luck with it.

Ray,
Congratulations on your new toy! We had three 47's on one of our summer runs. Great running boats with an enormous cabin. I think "inthered" is the only current 47 owner on the board. I was told with triple 575's the 47 would do 100mph. Look forward to seeing pictures.

RAY,

Congrats on the big toy and good luck with it. Out of curiosity, what did you pay for it ?

GottaHaveIt: Not sure yet, I am most likely going to have "Mitcher T" do the work. (http://www.mitchertcustompainting.com ) I have a couple of Ideas but nothing even close yet. I kind of like the below graphics but they are a little too "stock" looking.

LPBoater: They can trash me all they want, But when I am done with it they will be looking at my transom as I pass.

candyman35: Thanks, I think triple 575's might be a little small to run 100 but thats great to hear. If I go with anything other than stock 500's I plan on having 700-800's I think this may push it past 100.

cig1988: I PM'd you.

These are the graphics I kind of like so far a little plain but nice. Possibly in red or purple to match interrior:

Congrats Ray! What made you pick the Fountain over a Black Thunder? Just curious, in case I decide to go that route.

Ray,

Great Looking Fountain!!! I may be the only one, but I quite like the graphics, someone put a lot of time into the detail on the dragon. I sure wouldn't be able to have that boat sit for a whole summer before getting Her out, I would plug the transome holes have someone tow me to Party Cove and spend the weekend!!!! Have fun!!!!

Good Idea! The generator works. I could drop an electric trolling motor off the back to get me arround. - All show no go!

Ray, very nice.

What is the deal with the motors being out but still available? Why someone would go through all the trouble to remove the motors and drives unless it was to make the boat price more attractive?
