Guys still buying and using big power

WHy hasn't the new crank driven procharger system caught on in the marine industry. You wound think it would fix alll the watercooling stuff the turbo guys have to deal with . they got software to run this stuff all over the place

Torque curve doesn’t match the prop curve quite as well as a screw blower or roots supercharger. They can still be really fast. But you’ll be propping it for your available torque at plaining speed and end up with unusable power up top.

Its a super cool platform as a power adder. But, who has that much room to run it? It adds almost 24 inches.

....after I said it wont fit in most boats due to available space. LOL

If you had the space to run it, couldnt that be tailored to the application with a gearing change?

Not really, unless you have a transmission

wont mercury and sterling be running into the same issue with there twin turbos . Understand the length most cats got plenty of room

Turbos have a much broader efficiency range.

No, a gearing change in the procharger.

you can run vent tubes to the props to cavitate them and get them to get rev up and get on plane instead of lugging down
