Vessel Documentation Increase

Last 3 years it was $26 per year, this year $75? Tripled in one year? Really?

Where’d you see the price increase? If it’s from the “vessel documentation portal” it’s phony. That’s a 3rd party business.

Yeah that's it, it sounded like BS to me as well. I have been renewing mine through the Dept of Homeland Security!
Kinda like all the DOT third party providers. Boaters beware!

I am glade you mentioned that... I saw the same thing and was wondering why it was higher.
I ended up waiting to receive my renewal in the mail and it was $26.

The previous owner of my boat had received the letter from them with the name of the boat as I documented it but addressed to him. That and the big price increase I knew something wasn’t right. A quick search for “vessel documentation portal legit” brought up the BBB page etc. Just another scam
