^^^^ That wold be correct.. My guess the 42x with the black hull sides?

Knocking on the door of 100 my choice would be the 29 OL.

"Performance" is a relative term, I believe the parameters should be narrowed down a bit.
Inland lake drag racer? Shallow river runner? Best to travel distance in the Great lakes? Venture into the Ocean? Hybrid between weekending on and open water excursions? Poker run? Bass fish from? |

American Offshore 3100, jumps on plane, seating for six in the cockpit, small cabin and can achieve speeds in excess of 100 mph w/ moderate HP and Bravo drives. Probably like it so much because it’s realistically attainable for my budget.
I LOVE my 31 Awesome for all the reasons you mention AND that I can run 85+ mph through the rough without getting beat up like my pad bottom V. Mine runs 101 with 525's and averages 1.4 MPG.. I asked Art why the info was removed from the American Offshore site and he stated there has been NO interest in it anymore whatsoever... I'm just surprised.. Maybe he's just now overpriced.. |
