Powdercoat or Paint AL Swim Platform

See title...Couldn't figure out how to add a poll.

I think powdercoat is more durable, even if you shoot it with polyurethane. Mine came powercoated and looks great years later, but having it redone in another color for a restoration.

Fresh water or salt water boat? If it is salt, and you get a chip in PC, it starts to fail pretty quickly and is much harder to do a decent touch up on than paint.

Powdercoat.

Mine was - never any issues.

Mine have always been powdercoated. Had mine redone last year after about 10 years. The person stripping the PC off needs to know what they are doing and it cost me more to have mine stripped than to have it powedercoated.

Both.
Powdercoat with a heavy thick coat. Then topcoat with your paint color of choice. That's what they do at the AT factory.
