I agree. I literally 20 minutes ago had a conversation with the VP of a local bank that said the same thing. Everyone is using on line banking. He said banks getting hacked is way more common then people know. I just recently had to upgrade my credit card machines to remain PCI compliant aka insured. We are going to start seeing more and more of this especially with this weak administration that’s in office.

Story of my life right now. I just went through one audit for PCI and now about to light-off a ISO 27001 gap analysis. At least we're focused on it, but we have to be for contracts. So many others that I know especially mom and pop places, are not even close and running at huge risk.

I dont disagree, however it goes to show how complacent US companies are combating theft and problems such as these... for Christs sake people still fall for the Nigerian prince scam... there is no company in America, including the federal government that shouldn't be investing HEAVILY into cyber security... the bad guys are making trillions... I think this is the tip of the iceberg... There was hacker a while back (few months) where someone got into a water supply and increased the amount of a chemical, that would have killed millions...

that was my point, you would think companies this big would be more proactive with security than they seem to be. I know that it is a constant battle but you have to fight 28 hours a day to avoid things like this.

I have heard similar. The northern panhandle of Florida is affected, but central and south Florida get their fuel off ships. Doesn’t make a lot of sense to me, but there sure a lot of people filling up gas cans today in Clearwater.

He let china back in and the acess is left weak because they want us to fail. They can lie and call it a hacker or an emp our grids out. Media's gonna play along with whatever hokey narrative is out there. They'd never ask obiden why we went from energy independance and major security efforts from cyber to border to this mess, they're in on it.

Ring ring, hello china we need a shipload of transformers and stuff, oh so solly you super bad america you no get.

my fellow americans, we get our power grid parts from china thank me later for that, any way china says if we give up our guns and shred the constitution they'll send the stuff so we can turn the lights back on.

No, I was referring to the practice of gas stations putting plastic bags over the pump handles when the pump is empty. Still crazy though, our fuel comes from the port of Tampa.
