Weber 9780s 4 barrel carb
I just rebuilt the 4 bbl for my 454. I noticed the primary jets were taller than the secondaries. On Edelbrock 1410 carbs, which are essentially the same carbs, the primary and secondary jets look like the same height.
I wouldn't be concerned with the height except the metering rods sit in the primary jets. If its supposed to have lower jets it throws that circuit out the window. It's supposed to have .098 secondary and .104 primary jets. The 398 number on the secondary is good to go, but the primary is 504. I can't cross reference that number. Makes sense that it's 104, but I'm not sure. Any thoughts? Before I paint it, I'd like to make sure it's good to go. Thanks. https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...ab8f09ed20.jpg https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...69add9d3d4.jpg https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...66f9a8f949.jpg https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...2a3bd87d33.jpg https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...4507d2087d.jpg |
