I'll surely be somewhere else too. But, the water can get pretty rough around there.

If you're planning to do this event, there is a nice ramp in Liberty State Park boat launch, that's not too far from the starting point Pepsi Cola Sign on the East River

Thanks for the best wishes, I most likely will not join this festive event as I already circumnavigated Manhattan Island last Saturday June 12th

the pics you're seeing of the ramp and the jetski was from that trip

btw, I drank many ounces of dirty East River water as the winds were blowing hard that day and I mini-stuffed the jetski on multiple occasions and of course my mouth was wide open....muhahahaha
