Best Marine Polish
I have a 2004 Cigarette 42 Tiger that was painted by TAOD and the deck has some scratches in it. What is the best polishing compound to use to remove the scratches. I'm hopping that I don't need to do any cutting just polishing. Also are there specific polishing pads that you recommend? Thanks.

If its got light surface scratches, you will need a mild cutting compound or at least swirl remover compound.

the other issue we’ve had…it seems to wick brown staining up the sides. we’ve moved on to other products |
I let vitreo haze up and hit it with a terry cloth. Let it sit for couple hours and then hit it with a micro fiber towel. I like the product.

3M Microfine. For polishing or compounding products it is hard to beat 3M products, Meguires products for wax, though I have become fond of some of the J Lenno Garage waxes lately on the black hulsides.

this is what I was mentioning…never ever dealt with brown stains on the sides of our boat until using a polymer wax. I won’t use polymer wax again…
