Question What does this mean??? need tech help

I decided that 40ish is nice enought to take the cat for a spin.. so we are winging along through the no wake zone in downtown toledo and here is a bright orange boat.(oppps). so after that we get out in lake erie.. rough as hell and the motors are running about 6000 rpm... then there is an annoying ticking that got louder, then 1 motor is @ 6k and the other at 5k, then 4 k then 3k then 0.. Hmmmmm so I hit the starter.. CLUCK, CLUNK.. so we ran about 50mph back in on 1 motor,, is it possible that I might have a clogged filter?? or maybe a bad ground??/ I know there is no way I can get fired AND blow up the boat..???

Lightbulb

I had the same problem one year in my triple turbine boat.
After hours of thinking about the problem I decided to call my local AUTO parts store for some Muffler Bearing's, But my shop took 4 weeks to install, It was very costly, but what the heck give that a try..

Good Luck

NO NO NO you guys are all wrong its the chrome go faster bolt that fell out. Just tighten it up and everything will be all OK. Hey give it an extra 1/2 turn and you will gain that extra 5 MPH that you have been wanting.

You obviously accidently swapped the port and starboard dipsticks. Just swap them back.
