The big plus. friend on my dock had someone came into his slip while he was out. Boat must have drawn more water because something hit one of his poly tubes. Hydrohoist tried to fix it twice but it kept leaking. They did replace the tube. Now if it was fiber glass, it could have been fixed easy

I have a 16 or 18K fiberglass Hydrohoist. Bought it used from friend about 15 yrs ago. Lift is at least 20 years old. We are in fresh water and so far no issues with underwater strap. I did get a small pin hole from damn fisherman in top of one tube. Got some filler and all good. I have had to replace the pump a few times.

I only had my 29 Outlaw at first then the Cig. As stated Go Bigger you will probably get a bigger boat someday. Mine had a 47 fountain w trips on it at one time.
The new ones are nice. I think they are pushing $2 a pound now. Use to be closer to $1

Around here there are several choices for used purchase and install. Or you can buy new and wait for it to be built. Poly/Summerset are built here at LOTO. You can also get some of the other brands, such as LOTO Lifts, Econo Lifts if you are in somewhat calmer water. I have a neighbor 4 doors down, has 4 of the single big square tub lifts. Swears by them, he has a small cruiser, 35 Fountain, 40 something MTI, 4 jet ski. No issues on any of them.
