Does Corsa still make boats? I understand that they made the Martinis as well.

I've almost closed a deal on a 1986 30' Corsa up here in Canada. Word around the campfire has it that it belonged to someone who ran guns from Florida to Cuba until he was shot. Apparently, the hull was built with an inner liner to make it a little more seaworthy while running with a few bullet holes in it. (so it would at least make it to shore for an on foot getaway)
The cuddy has two makeshift cots up front and loads of storage. Powered by triple outboards at one point and the hull is said to be Kevlar. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

was at their place about 4 years ago they are building a 41 and some fishing boats. Great guys, nice work, but why would a drug boat story induce you to buy a boat. They still build lots of drug boats in Fla and still put lots of holes in em when the good guys arrive on scene. Cripple triples is the storyline. Center engine takes a beating in the ocean

The 30 Corsa was a good Race boat in its day I believe it was National Champion M Class in 78 (Cocktails) Tom Murphy/ Paul Haggerty
They had two deck molds one a race deck the other was raised.
The 32 Signature was a 30 Corsa with a two foot Stretch by Tommy Adams. If memory serves correctly!
Also the Corsa Hull plug was done by Nick Chapman.
I always liked the high freeboard of the Corsa remember in those days the competition consisted of the 27 Magnums and 28 Cigarettes those were low freeboard and with a race bolster you were well above the deck

Hey Kid, first off, this boat was an alleged 'GUN RUNNER', not a drug running boat.(like it matters) I would never consider buying a boat based on 'all the hype'. What originally drew me to this boat was the fact that it was sitting beside a garage 75' from the highway for at least 5 years before I eventually took the notion to stop in one fine day. I would like some history on this company. Thanks
P.S. Nice boat Kid!
Steve, thanks for your input as well!
I believe this particular hull would fit into the 'raised' category.
