No regrets! I'm getting too old to crawl all over those fast boats. lol!
I do miss the cool factor, but my 400r's run pretty strong on the CC. Plus plenty of room for the girls to dance! :D

Terry we miss seeing you guys in that hot rod. Do you guys have any regrets about going the comfort route? Cannot deny that I've had those thoughts myself - just know that once I do It'll be forever - no going back.

I had several friends on that boat. Fortunately, all are alive. Banged up, but alive.

Well, I'm 51 - but played drums in rock bands for 20+ years and played since I was 6 as a hobby. My knees are $hit, my elbows are $hit, and my back is $hit. lol!

This time around I could pretty much get whatever boat I wanted and maybe I'm just not old enough yet but and honestly this very well could be my last Cigarette but couldn't be happier going the performance route. ( I'm 62 ) |

I did it years ago. sold the Cigarette and bought a Formula 400ss. Couldn't take it had to get another cig. Now having both the Formula and the cig was the hot ticket, ( but really tough on the wallet )

Hi Peter! Yes we still have the same set up overlooking the lake - even have a few improvements like a much bigger covered deck. Simple set-up but it suits us fine. We are just finishing up a 5 week stretch at the lake and are bummed we finally have to go back home this week. The "more comfort" I was speaking of might involve egg-beaters and a mere 75+ mph boat - but with little to no off-season drama getting it ready for the next season. . Thankfully that's still a ways off as it's still a thrill for me to buzz around on the tops of the waves in the Donzi. Was just wondering how it's working out for peeps who have made that transition from wild no mild. On those occasions when the Donzi goes down during the summer I feel naked being in a mere mortal that cannot shoot out an 80 foot rooster. :) Not ready to give up that rush forever.

I bailed and downsized to a small outboard C.C. at age 74. The maintenance became a chore, still enjoyed the ride. You guys got some years left, enjoy.
