Man...seeing all the sweet docks/lifts/shops and garages really makes me miss my boat even more! Typically I'll winterize it in November, then won't see it again until April/May. Retirement plans include a house on the lake with a lift AND a shop on site for winter storage.

Yes I do
I wanted to buy a 28 but my boat garage will only fit a 26. I wanted it to be inside .

Just shrink wrapped it! 1st time leaving it in yard but high dry has no able workers crooked boss with a ego problem :asskiss: Time to buy a trailer after 50 years of boating only 2 miles to bay! Gonna call BBB and start a law suit with marina if they continue to contact us ! Because bottom looks like a airport run way from marina fork truck !Cost us 2 seasons almost because under staffed marina! Got it out of there to use it every time you wanted to launch it they had dumb excuses? My point buy a trailer or pay to launce it still cheaper! Over & out!

Hard to beat that convenience! One question I’ve never asked about a basement garage like yours is does any fuel/oil/rubber or other smells make it’s way to the rest of the house? My wife’s nose rivals that of a hound dog
I have an exterior door at the top of the steps, my hvac and water heater , natural gas, is in its own sealed room, and the entire basement framing is covered with 5/8 fire resistant drywall |
What is the purpose of the jack stands under your trailer?

Some people do that to keep the weight off the tires during the winter or storage time. Helps prevent flat spotting and can extend the life of the tires. I used to do the same thing with my show car years ago during the winter months.
Also takes the load off the trailer suspension. |

My version is let some air out of the tires and jack each one up and slightly rotate a few times during the winter. |
