early to mid 90s Cafe Racers w/hp500s?

Were HPs a standard motor package in a Cafe?
Also what kind of speed are they seeing?

I don't think HP500's were out in the early-mid 90's

A Cafe with HP500's and dialed in props will run somewhere around 72-75mph

I think 502MPI's were, around 94 or so....before that the carbed 502's.

What would someone with not a lot of confidence in custom HP motors think of a Cafe Racer equiped with a set of new/warranteed 496HO drive trains?
