Are you sure about that Stage 2 cost? That looks a little high for some headers and programming.

Now wait a minute...What the hell does it mean, "exclusive programmer" ?

There are others reprogramming these things aren't there?...I know Arizona speed and Marine has done work with the 496 computers before.

* Rev-Limiter Modification Only $650.00
* Performance Program/Rev-Limiter $750.00
* Custom Programs Available Starting at $900.00

Is this normal?

Yes, we are the exclusive, Az. Speed worked with the MEFI 3 that the Volvo engine uses. The GM engine uses the MEFI4. Pricing is normal, this is not MEFI1 or 3, this is a entirely new system. These rights are not given "free" we have to pay for the right to work on the ECU's. Theres also a tremendous amount of hours put into mapping/testing/etc.

The stage 2 system is priced with CMI Sport Tube headers, the same as the 525 HP EFI and GM 525 496 package. These are far more expensive than the "e" tops. Were continuing to test other systems and trying to get pricing down, but at this moment, thats what worked, thats what made horsepower and torque.

The Supercharger system is $6695. Were working on a few other things at this time, but thats what were offering right now.

Thanks,
Dustin

We tested quite a few headers and are offering the best power producers. No question they're more money, and were working on that, but the cast manifolds did not make the power that the CMI headers did on the naturally aspirated 496 engine.

Not every header makes 30-40 hp like mfgs. claim, thats for sure. Imco's work really good on most applications, hell, I have them on my Hemis and I install them all the time, but the CMI Sport Tubes made the most hp and tq, hands down.

Thanks
Dustin
