Are Dana Tabs same mounting pattern as K-Planes?

Curious if the Dana Marine Trim Tabs have the same transom mounting holes and hydraulic line locations as Merc K-Planes? I have 280s on a boat and contemplating swapping to the bigger Dana Hp-1100 which are similar to the 380 kplanes... I haven't been able to find a reasonably priced set of just 380 lower plates, so this is another option if they are direct swap. I dont want to be drilling new holes and filling old ones
Thanks in advance

just looking at the Dana tab pictures i would say they are probably the same "size wise" and would cover the same area on the transom but the holes look different(depending on the version of tabs). The Dana tabs look to have a center bolt on the very top where the Merc stuff doesn't....

I am sure Dana Marine can tell you. You definitely are not the first person to ask. :D

I am just about sure they will not fit without drilling. Off the bat..the where the lines go to the rams are bolts. Hard to understand but when you see them then you will understand.

Thought they weren't in business anymore? Or did they just change names?

That's what I was starting to think, which I'd rather not do when I can just swap lower plates for same result, less $ and work

With as many people that want to convert a 280 to a 380 tab, I can't believe that someone hasn't knocked off or is just making an aluminum weldment of a drop-in lower plate. Seems like one would sell a bunch, I'd buy them if they were easy to change out, otherwise I have zero interest in buying a complete set of tabs just for a plate or even dismounting from my transom.

Agreed! From not wanting to dismount, fill holes, and drill new..... to why doesn't some build a compatible lower plate.... If they did, they'd probably price it as high as a new setup tho, smh

You can buy the 380 bottom plates for $1200 new. Just pill the hinge pin and change them out. I have done it a couple of times
