Saw the Sub today with the two-tone Blue and the Serti- face(silver) with Sapphires and diamonds for numbers. This watch screamed to me,I`M THE ONE.It`s the best of both worlds outdoorsie yet elegant.http://www.atlantictime.com/rolex-su...ld-watches.htm I like the Yachtmaster but when I have a heavy gold bracelet on one hand and the watch hand has a gold Diamond wedding ring the all steel and platinum Yachtmaster looks outa place. Thanks for the input everyone

I like that web site.
My Submariner was $ 2600 with all the options. Would anyone like for me to price them a watch down here in Bermuda??? Crissons gives GREAT deals at Christmas time.

I really like IWC. While it doesn't hold value like a Rolex, it is a real timepiece. To me a Rolex is like a Baja: someone that is after glitz but doesn't really know about a timepiece gets one. Then again, if you are after glitz or a boat like a Baja then I am nobody to be saying what you should buy.

rolex and baja. very bad comparison. i'm not saying rolex is the best time piece made, but it definitely has the tough as nuts award. i've broken every watch out there. i don't buy a watch to be pretty on my wrist. i buy it to wear. i haven't broken my rolex. i don't know anyone who has broken theirs. i was a commercial diver and my company had a dive division. TOUGH AS NUTS!!!!!
ROLEX = TOUGH AS NUTS !!!!
if there is something tougher out there, please let me know. i'll go get it.

Dredgeking,
Fair enough, but if you are buying your watch for toughness, then remember the Timex slogan, "takes a licking and keeps on ticking". Surely there is another reason you have that Rolex. It's really a few ounces of gold or platinum with a second rate clock attached to boot.

i just buy stainless watches. hate the gold look. platinum is my precious metal of choice, but why have it on a watch? i buy soley for function, never for looks. i'd crush a timex case in a new york minute, baby. seriously, if there is a stronger watch, please let me know.
