Great to read something Positive for a Michigan Based Company. Algonac is a great part of Michigan that needs a boost like this. Congratulations to Sunsation having Waddinton on board, guy does nothing half assed that I have seen.

Great to hear they are doing so well, I wonder if they will ever build performance boats again or is that market completely dead? Maybe they could build a 32-36' Cat like everyone else.

Howard Custom Boats got a 288 Sportdeck cat, but I could see a larger, similar, fast 33'-38' sportdeck cat that can handle both the serious chop on LOTO, and the party scene where space and storage for partying is key.

Not a chance..................Joe has been quoted saying the OB/CC market is where they are staying simply from a production standpoint the I/O stuff takes too long to complete. Also consider their last 2 go fast boats (F4 43 footer and the 36) were very time consuming to develop and low production numbers followed. I think they built 14-16 43s and less than 30 36's. The R&D costs were hefty for such little production.

Even Formula has buried their FasTech line of sport boats.

Until the OB/CC fad dies or slows.
FWIW, According to this guy that toured Formula last year. FasTech's aren't exactly buried.

Formula took the Fastec line off their website. Their MSRP is crazy high to begin with, I couldn't imagine calling to build ONE 353 or 382 and then waiting for their pricing. Formula isn't Rolls Royce's "Bespoke" division but I'd bet their pricing in right up there.
