Have you looked in Michigan? I think there are a few very good Engine Builders here.
Don't go to far south of the Ohio River, had a fellow boater that just got hammered by a dude down that way, no offer to assist afterwards....some small dirty shop, without a dyno, guy had to rent one an hour away! stick with a known builder! even then you could have problems Just My Opinion! and we know that "opinion's are like aholes everybody has one" :D |

Last trip down to More Power Racing I saw a handful of engines being freighted in and asked where they were from and Dick said these here are from FL. Was a little surprised hobbies would go to such lengths (long time customer). Then I thought about it. With the great job they’ve done for me (over 30 years) I’d do the same even if it meant some shipping costs. Problem nowadays is there’s one bad shop for every good one. |
If I was having something built or rebuilt I would go to Eddie Young near Nashville or Saris, Lake George NY.
