Cant find a boat I saw browsing classifieds...
It was over 35' and it had #6 drives and superchargers. For $60k, doesnt that seem a little cheap? It looked a little neglected but not terrible. Thats the power setup I am looking for.

The size and weight of the boat in question has more than a little impact on your question and the answer. Assuming you're asking about something 35'+.
most likely well under 1mpg, but to make the math easy, let's say it's 1mpg. That's 100 gallons per hour. $400/hour minimum based on current marina fuel costs.
If it's actually 0.5mpg, then it's 200 gallons per hour. $800/hour.
I'm sure someone smarter than me can follow up with more accurate numbers.

"Stepped hulls have been around since 1910 or so, when powerboat pioneers Gar Wood and Christopher Columbus Smith (founder of Chris-Craft), among others, used them on hydroplanes."
