Its funny because it’s only a 6 hour drive from our place in Cali to havasu but it was mid to upper 70’s in havasu and 60s in Cali. 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Is that boat too big for Havasu? Hassle to beach (as in others jump off into 3 ft of water but you are 30 feet out into the channel/deeper water)? I think Mark and Eileen's 50 with triple 1000s ended up out there also.

Glad the family gets to use both boats in February, looked like a great time!

I guess too big is a relative term right. I was just talking about this on another thread. People say havasu is small but if you think about it, it’s not THAT small. Run from havasu springs to the needle bridge is over 50 miles. Run from PBC to dicks is about the same. I’d say most lakes you’re not running more that 50 miles to get somewhere. Even Miami to Gilbert’s is less than 50. In cal. We’ll run up to Santa Barbara that’s about 30 each way. Or we’ll run out to the islands which is about 20 each way depending on which island you go. So, I’d argue havasu isn’t exactly too small. Cool thing is you can run a 50’ boat or you can run a 19’ jet boat and everything in between.

and usually (if your nut throwing an anchor) you can beach the boats and jump off the back swim around or jump off bow. No biggie.

like this.

I've been to HavaZOO a couple of times, back in the late 80's and it was plenty big enough, then again, I was in a 17' Checkmate! BTW, great Pics Tank, Tx!
