50' Skater Kong Running HARD off Miami

I agree with enjoying life, guts I have, having a less than skilled driver drive me at 120+ mph in a boat, no way, put me on the wheel and I will throttle, I will live my life with my own choices,.....I am a risk taker, but just because someone can afford the hot-rod boat does not mean he or she has the skill to properly drive it, .....

Everybody has differing ideas, view points on all things boating (and otherwise) but Just my opinion the boat was running just fine. Yes at the 1 min mark it did hang for a bit but came down how i would expect it to in those seas.
My opinion means nothing I know!
So everyone should run their equipment to where they feel comfortable, and I would assume Yves felt comfortable. Driver stated the he was fine also!
Props looked like an old set to begin with so they may have been fatigued as well.

This guy and a friend are running his 50' Skater performance boat rather hard in some "sporty" seas.
Both of them I'm sure aware of the outcome if anything goes awry.
Doesn't seem around anyone else in the water.
I bet that "idiot" does other preposterous stuff.
Like uses his lawnmower to cut grass, his stove to cook a meal, or his toilet to crap in.

FYI - The water conditions are mild, not at all sporty, ....

Cool video, he certainly runs hard.
The guys comparing their 85mph vees with this 160+mph Skater are comparing a Corvette to an F1 car. One will get away from you a lot, lot faster. And it's not gonna just bow steer on entry and warn you.

The guy has been doing these stunts for a long time. And presumably has many hours at the helm.
So maybe he does suck at operating hot rod boats or maybe he runs them on the brink all the time, which then increases the chances of crap happening.
I'm not going to judge his ability.
There's been top echelons in the sport die from mishaps.
In regard to water conditions? It's definitely subjective and relative. Call it what you will.
The video doesn't depict the water accurately at all.
The video description on Youtube says 3' to 4' seas.
So that's what I'm going off of.
I myself have a hard time calling any water that's launching a 50' Skater as such in the video mild.
He has other videos of him doing 180 and another just says 100+. The boat isn't anywhere near getting launched like in the embedded video. YMMV.

My point is he’s definitely not putting any other boaters at risk. He’s clearly not asking for permission or approval how to drive his boat. And I certainly don’t see any open invites 😂. Most of all he’s having fun and getting a rush - Fk many people have to take drugs to do that nowadays.
Just not for everybody!!!
