It's been bugging me since I seen it this spring. I believe it said viper on the side but no manufacturer. Anyone know?

I didn't think they still made IMPs. Isn't that an Elegonza or something like that?

Thanks, I was curious. Looked like a nice boat and had good lines too.

The Viper is I velieve the 31' IMP. The Eleganza is a 33' boat. If I'm not mistaken.

As for there being no manufacturer name on the side of the boat, if it said IMP in your boat, wouldn't you want to remove it too?!?!?!? LOL!!!

The boat ia a 31 ft the new 33 is the same boat with a swim platform good looking boats interior is a little plain. You do see a lot of them at LOTO most I have seen all had 454 of some sort for power new ones were about 90K last year.

Anyone know what IMP stands for? (trivia question for the day)

Holy Smokes 11-24-2002 08:47 PM

Either.... Indianola Marine Products or Iola Marine Products.

IMP's are or were manufactured in Iola, Kansas. About 1 1/2 hours south of Kansas City.

Do I win a Prize???
